Bellydance Classes starting in April…
April 1, 2010
Dear friends and members of YaHabibi,
Summer is around the corner and what better way to work off all the “figolli” and easter eggs than bellydance? Not only is it a fun way to workout, but it is also an excellent opportunity to meet new people, making new friends whilst learning something new. Whether you are a returning student or a total newcomer, I am sure you will find a class that suits your level and goals.
The new term kicks off with a one-off Bellydance Taster on Wednesday 21st April between 7:15pm and 8:15pm. If you are a newcomer and would like to give bellydancing a try first before commiting to a course, then this is the class for you. So rally your friends and for only €12.00 per person, you get to try something new whilst sharing a few laughs together. Group discounts will apply for groups of 8 and more.
This spring, we have two student showcases scheduled. On Saturday May 1st at 8:00pm, students from the advanced beginners and intermediate classes will be joining me in a performance at San Anton Gardens during the annual Horticultural show. The show at Baystreet will be held on Sunday 6th June at 9pm. Please keep May 8th – World Bellydance Day – free for our quarterly Hafla, the details of which will be announced shortly.
As part of our promotion, we have teamed up with Charlene of Soap Cafe (www.soapcafemalta.com) who will be offering samples from her hand-made lavish soaps for the first 20 students and discount vouchers for the first 50 students to book. Please note that bookings are only valid if confirmed with a payment and will be treated in the order payment is received. Do not loose your chance of benefitting from this unique promotion!
Watch out for our forthnightly shimmy bootcamps – a great workout plus an opportunity to polish those shimmies, plus learn new variations and layering techniques. I have now split the material into two levels: Shimmy 1 (no layers) and Shimmy 2 (layers) – thus both beginners and intermediate students can pick a class suited to their technical level.
To those who have joined the last session’s classes and activities – THANK YOU for your enthusiasm and for being such amazing students! I am very proud of each and everyone of you!
Wishing you a figolliscious Easter…
Yours in bellydance,
Jane
